Our crates are made with ¾" pine or poplar with minimum 3/8" plywood sides. All wood crates are secured on one side with washer head screws for ease of opening. The crate edges are lined with a minimum of 1½" foam blocking.

Three-dimensional Objects

All work is wrapped with a protective layer of high-density film or plastic sheeting prior to crating. Large heavy work, such as bronze sculpture, is locked into place using padded 2" x 4" braces. Smaller work may be packed with expanding spray-in foam or high density paper.

Corrugated Boxes

Our shipping boxes are custom made using double or triple strength corrugated flats. All boxes are lined with 1" soft foam strips along the broad sides and firm foam blocking along the edges and corners. The foam blocking allows the inner package of your art to be shipped without excess pressure.
